Clubs
FFA (Future Farmers of America)
A curriculum-based organization committed to the individual student, providing a path to achievement in premier leadership, personal growth and career success through agricultural education. FFA helps its members to develop their own unique talents and explore their interests in a broad range of agricultural career pathways. Students compete in various events at the local, state and national levers.
NHS (National Honor Society)
An honor organization that recognizes outstanding high school students. More than just an honor roll, NHS serves to recognize those students who have demonstrated excellence in the areas of scholarship, service, leadership, and character.
NAHS (National Art Honor Society)
An honor organization that advances visual arts education to fulfill human potential and promote global understanding.
GATE (Gifted and Talented Education)
An honor organization that helps to enhance the achievement and performance of students with special gifts and talents, whether it's in psychology, music or basketball.
SCA (Student Council Association)
A student organization whereby membership is selected by application, teacher recommendation, grade point average, and ethical character. SCA’s sole purpose is school improvement from the student perspective. This organization serves as the “voice” of the student population on school culture improvement.
KEY CLUB (Kiwanis)
Key Club International is the oldest and largest service program for high school students. It is a student-led organization that teaches leadership through service to others. Members of the Kiwanis International family, Key Club members build themselves as they build their schools and communities.
FBLA (Future Business Leaders of America)
Prerequisite: Students must be enrolled in a business class or have taken a business class
High school students explore college and career opportunities through a number of co-curricular educational programs. Members take part in academic competitions, networking events with accomplished business professionals at conferences, and community service projects. Plus, members have exclusive access to scholarships from a select group of academic institutions.
4-H
4-H is delivered by Cooperative Extension—a community of more than 100 public universities across the nation that provides experiences where young people learn by doing. Members complete hands-on projects in areas like health, science, agriculture, and citizenship, in a positive environment where they receive guidance from adult mentors and are encouraged to take on proactive leadership roles.
KARST (Cave Exploration)
An organization that engages in the exploration and facilitates the study of all kinds of subterranean cavities (caves).
SADD (Students Against Destructive Decisions)
SADD’s mission is to empower young people to successfully confront the risks and pressures that challenge them in their daily lives. From alcohol to violence to mental health services, SADD strives to make the lives of young people better every day.
FCA (Fellowship of Christian Athletes)
A small group Bible Study for all student-athletes at all levels on campus and in community club/travel sports.
CAVALIER SPIRIT CLUB
An organization that promotes school pride and spirit by participating in fun, informative activities and events that support all school-affiliated organizations.
CTC (Cavalier Technology Club)
An organization that promotes leadership and opportunities in technology & innovation. Members apply STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) concepts through co-curricular programs. Interest topics include robotics, coding, app creation, etc.
WILDERNESS CLUB
An organization that focuses on outdoor activities such as fishing, archery, hunter safety, hiking, and survival in the wilderness.
FRENCH CLUB (PM Club Only)
An organization that celebrates the French language and culture.
SPANISH CLUB (AM Club Only)
An organization that celebrates the Spanish language and culture.
