ATTENTION SENIORS AND SENIOR PARENTS!! We will be having senior cap and gown pictures Monday, April 20 starting at 8:30am. Please bring your undecorated cap, tassel and gown. Cap and gown photos look best when dress clothes are worn underneath. We suggest that seniors pay attention to their collars (necktie/blouse) and what is below their knees (dress pants/skirt/dress shoes).

If you plan on ordering pictures from PhotoGenius, you will need the order form and payment on Monday.

On Thursday, April 2nd, Ms. Sexton's class visited the Buller Fish Hatchery in Marion, Virginia. While there, they learned about some of this area's native fish species and the conservation efforts to preserve them so our local lakes and rivers can be stocked with plenty of game fish. They also learned about the endangered native mussei species and the conservation efforts to preserve them as well.

PHHS Students have had a week to play RoShamBo and win beads. Students with the most beads played in a RoShamBo-down this morning. Carter W. came in 2nd and Ben H. was the grand champion. Fun fact- Ben lost his beads early on in a challenge BUT received a “redemption” set of beads for perfect attendance last week. That one set of beads multiplied and kept him in the game. Students remember, Attendance Matters and YOU Matter!

The Rebel Voices Chorus, the Middle School Rebel Voices Chorus, the Rebel Voices Men's Ensemble, and the Rebel Voices Women's Ensemble all participated in the Virginia Choral Directors Association Choral Assessment on Friday, March 20th. Each choir earned a combined Superior rating for stage performance and sight reading. With the band's Superior performance the week prior during the band assessment at Virginia High School, this qualifies Patrick Henry High School for the prestigious Blue Ribbon Award, which is the highest musical honor a school can receive in the Commonwealth of Virginia. Congratulations to Mr. Marcum and the Rebel Regiment, and Mr. Fore and the Rebel Voices for these outstanding performances!
