Junior Washington County Community Scholars are middle school students who demonstrate a high level of citizenship and community service along with academic commitment during the school year.
To be eligible students must:
complete at least 8 hours of community service
maintain a "B" average and
have at least 95% attendance for the year.
In addition, students cannot have three or more disciplinary referrals to the office or any out-of-school suspension for the year.
Students who complete the requirements will be recognized in the Spring.
Interested students need to pick up a volunteer form in the school counseling/guidance office and return it to Ms. Moser, the school counselor before the deadline in the Spring. Additional forms can be obtained from Ms. Moser as needed during the year as well.
