An Important Message for Abingdon Elementary Families: Abingdon Elementary School will be closed on Friday, August 16, 2024. During a recent construction project, there was an inadvertent disturbance of asbestos. Out of an abundance of caution, we will be conducting air quality testing on Friday morning.
Because of this closure, childcare will be available for working families. The care will be provided by Boys and Girls Club and Abingdon Elementary staff at Woodland Hills
Christian Church from 7:45 a.m. – 6:30 p.m. Bus transportation will be provided for those who need it, or parents can opt to drop off their children. Breakfast will also be available for students at Woodland Hills Christian Church.
All other schools will operate on a normal schedule on Friday, August 16.
