Parent Resource Center

Parent Resource Center

The Washington County Title I Parent Resource Center (Kidz Place) is a part of the Washington County Public Schools Federal Programs. The center has materials set up like a library to meet the needs of preschool through grade five students.

Our goal through the center is to work with parents to give students, present and future, the greatest opportunity for success in the early years of school. For some students, more time and help are needed to develop strong academic skills. The Parent Resource Center (Kidz Place) has hundreds of instructional tools available for parents to work with their children at home to provide that extra boost for school achievement.

A certified teacher and assistants on staff at the Parent Resource Center (Kidz Place) will assist you in finding those materials just right to meet your child’s learning needs, and they will provide you with training in the use of those materials.

One of the most important factors contributing to school success is parent involvement in education. Home and school working together help to insure the success of every student. We invite you to take advantage of the many services the Parent Resource Center (Kidz Place) has to offer.
