Josey M. was the 2012-2013 School Calendar/Handbook Cover Art Contest Winner. She is a 10th grader at John S. Battle High School, and her beautiful and creative artwork was chosen from over 300 entries from students county-wide to be the cover for the 2012-2013 School Calendar/Handbook. Washington County distributes over 11,000 copies of the school calendar/handbook annually throughout the county. Josey is instructed by art teacher, Thelma Blake. Mrs. Blake says that Josey is a very talented artist who works diligently at her craft and creates with a passion. Josey's award was presented at the May 7th School Board Meeting. Congratulations to Josie.
