On Thursday, January 19, Abingdon High School students, Luke Q., the Virginia Technology Student Association President, and Jason D., the National Technology Student Association Sergeant-at-Arms, along with presidents of Virginia's Career and Technical Student Organization meet with Governor McDonnell. The students were present to take part in Governor McDonnell's signing of the proclamation of February as Career and Technical Education Month. On Friday, January 20, Luke and Jason meet with local area legislators asking for their support of Career and Technical Education. While in Richmond, Luke and Jason toured the Richmond Convention Center which will be the location of this year's Technosphere.
