An example of some of the Greendale Elementary artwork displayed at the Arts Depot.
In honor of Youth Art Month, several Greendale Elementary artists were featured in an exhibit at the Arts Depot in Abingdon during the month of March. The student work represented many of the different art projects that Mrs. Ashley Thompson involves her students in throughout the school year. Students are able to work with a variety of mediums and produce pieces that are not only beautiful but also connect to the curriculum the students are studying in their other classes. The artists whose pieces were selected for the exhibit were invited to a reception in their honor on Saturday, March 13. This was a wonderful opportunity for these students to experience having their art on display in a public exhibit!
