Abingdon Elementary recently held a school spelling bee. The competition was strong as the students spelled their way through 164 words and made it to the 6th grade level spelling words. Jasmine M., a third grader, was named the champion of this year's spelling bee and will go on to compete in the county spelling bee. Fourth grader, Jared K., came in second place.
