GATE Summer Camp 2013 - Math, Science, Arts
The Washington County Schools GATE Summer Camp 2013 is a one week academic experience providing bright, talented, and motivated rising 2nd through rising 9th grade students the opportunity for hands-on exploration in forensic science, robotics, rocketry, art, mythology, computers, biology, chemistry, physics, and math. Students will be grouped according to grade level.
The goal of this camp is to provide a highly stimulating and challenging intellectual environment where students will learn to reach their potential. This camp was designed to stimulate imagination and expand abilities with an emphasis on problem solving, critical and creative thinking, and leadership. It affords students the chance to interact with peers from area schools who have a wide range of interests and goals.
GATE Summer Camp 2013 is scheduled for June 17-21, 2013 from 9:00 AM — Noon at Abingdon High School.
This camp is free to Washington County GATE students.
